  1. A few comments after two and a half years heavy use of one Hudora RX 205.
The structure of the scooter is very strong, its weaknesses lie in the smaller parts.
Due to lack of proper spare part support (in the UK) I have some serious issues:
    – the mudguard used also as the break has a huge hole in it now due to friction, ignoring this can damage the sole of shoes…
    – the metal pin that holds the mudguard with a spring had to be superglued into its holes as it kept sliding out due to vibration
    – yet again the mudguard… provides no or little protection from water splashed by the rolling rear wheel, at the same time there is none on the front one which means the scooter should only be used in dry weather with missing any puddles when riding
    – the springed pins or buttons got very loose after a year and had to cover them with black tapes to prevent losing them (that would render the handlebars useless)
    – the rubber plugs at both ends of the handle keep coming out, not a big problem in itself but great annoyance
    – one of the wheels started to make some strange squishy noise after less than a year, after two the other followed the example…
    – in less than a year the headgear (the one just above the front wheel) broke to pieces, but the replacement has worked well ever since)
    – the platform might prove too high for some users, it demands more muscle work from the thighs (which is also a good thing if fitness is considered as a factor).

As said before these ilnesses come from very heavy use and can be treated by proper maintenance, tightening bolts every so and often, changing spare parts, keeping the scooter clean, by using it according to its manual.

Unfortunately, the noise factor cannot be cured 100%, it always was and remained a drawback.
However if you managed to read this far please note that aside with these factors mentioned this scooter is very sturdy, looks great, comes with superb bearings in the wheels, and never let me down, even with the hole in the mudguard.
